Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel as you explore the delightful creation called Delhi. Around 10:00am, meet tour guide, prior to the sightseeing in Old and New Delhi.
Proceed to the Red Fort, the icon of power and majesty in India. Named after the beautiful use of red-sandstone walls, this elegant fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. (Closed on every Monday). This fort complex was constructed by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a representation of his capital headquarters and residence, Shahjahanabad. Overlooking the Red Fort is the oldest imperial avenue known as Chandni Chowk, presenting the old natured alleys of Delhi. As these alleys narrow down, you will reach Jama Masjid, the largest Muslim mosque in India and Asia. Avail the opportunity of Rickshaw Ride in the bustling markets and streets in Old Delhi. Finishing the visit in Old Delhi, the discovery will lead to the New Delhi. Continue the journey with a visit to Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb and India Gate, a 42 meter long archway dedicated to the martyrs of Second World War. Watch the famous War Memorial Arch and compare the contrasts between old and New Delhi.
Later, enjoy the drive past through Rashtrapati Bhawan. Initially the Imperial residence of the Viceroy in the early 20th century, this splendid structure is now a residence of the President of India and also serving as Parliament House. Finally, proceed to the Government secretariat buildings at Connaught Place where the heart of New Delhi as well as the busy shopping centre are. After all sightseeing tour, on time transfer to Delhi airport to board flight for onward destination.
