Day 01 : Arrive
Mumbai ( Bombay)
Arrive Bombay. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at Mumbai.
Day 02 : Mumbai - Ahmedabad (By overnight Train)
Morning excursion to Elephanta caves which is across the sea (10 Km away
from Gateway of India) to see rock cut temples of Lord Shiva. Afternoon city
tour of Mumbai visiting Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum, Dhobi Ghat
and Mani Bhawan. Evening connect train to Ahmedabad. Overnight on board
Day 03 : Ahmedabad
Arrive Ahmedabad in the morning. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit the
magnificent Mosque of Siddi Saiyad with its exquisite stone carvings, the
beautiful Jama Masjid, White marbled Hathee Singh's Temple, Dada Hari Baoli,
Calico Textile Museum and Sabarmati Ashram started by Mahatma Gandhi.
Overnight at Ahmedabad.
Day 04 : Ahmedabad - Udaipur
Morning drive to Udaipur which is 250 kms / 6 hrs. Udaipur is known as the
city of lakes. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon visit City Palace &
Museum and Jagdish Temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Udaipur
Full day sightseeing tour visiting Sahelion ki Bari, Bhartiya Lok Kala
Mandir, Gulab Bagh & Zoo, Verma Park, Pichola Lake, Aravali Vatika,
Pratap Smarak, Nehru Park etc. Evening drive around the Fatehsagar Lake.
Overnight at Udaipur.
Day 06 : Udaipur - Ranakpur - Jodhpur
Morning drive to Jodhpur visiting Ranakpur Temples enroute. These Jain
Temples built in the 15th century are situated in the lovely valley of the
Aravali. There are 1444 pillars in the temple and none of them are similar.
The magic of light & shade is really awe inspiring. Surya Temple and
other Jain Temples are side attractions. On arrival in Jodhpur check into
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07 : Jodhpur Osain - Jaisalmer
Morning visit the Meharangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone Hill,
including Moti-Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing
Marble Memorium built in 1899 and the museum located in the Umaid Public
Gardens. Afternoon proceed to Jaisalmer enroute visiting Osian Village which
is famous of the ancient temple and village activities. Upon arrival check
into hotel.
Day 08 : Jaisalmer Jaipur by overnight train
Morning visit Fort, bazaars & the old mansions known as "havelis."
Evening drive to Khuri Village to see the sand dunes and camel ride.
Overnight at Jaisalmer.
Day 09 : Arrive Jaipur
Arrive Jaipur in the morning. Upon arrival check into hotel. Afternoon city
tour of Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a
century ago in honour of a visiting Prince. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the
notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City
Palace, & the Observatory. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 : Jaipur
Morning visit Amber Fort - the ancient capital of the State. Visit the
Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Drive past Hawa
Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Also
visit the Birla Temple. Evening free to visit the colourful markets.
Overnight at Jaipur.
Day 11 : Jaipur Fatehpur Sikhri - Agra
Morning drive to Agra which is 252 kms / 5 hrs drive. Enroute visit
Fatehpur Sikhri which was Old Mughal Capital. Upon arrival check into hotel.
Afternoon visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Mughal Emperor
Shahjahan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains.
Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Halls of Public and Private
Audience. Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 : Agra - Delhi
Morning drive to Agra. On arrival check into hotel. Day free for leisure or
for own activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 : Delhi / onward destination
Morning tour of Old Delhi visiting Raj Ghat - the cremation sites of
Mahatma Gandhi , Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.
Check-out from the hotel at 1200 hrs. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by
Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Lakshminarayan
Temple and drive past President's House, Parliament House and Government
Secretariat Buildings. Late evening transfer to airport to connect flight
back to home.
