Day 01 : (Wed) : Board Palace-On-Wheels train
The train departs from Safdarjung Railway Station at 16:00 hrs. Overnight
on board
Day 02 : (Thu) : Jaipur
The train arrives at Jaipur at 0200 hrs. Breakfast is served at 0730 hrs on
board. Visit the Hawa Mahal and the Amber Fort in the morning and also enjoy
a ride on the back of an elephant. Have your lunch at the palace hotel.
After lunch, discover the beauty and history of the City Palace and the
Jantar Mantar. Later, the luxury coach takes tourists back to the Palace on
Wheels at around 1830 hrs. The train departs for Jaisalmer at 1930 hrs.
Day 03 : (Fri) : Jaisalmer
The Palace on Wheels arrives in Jaisalmer at 0815 hrs. After breakfast on
board, set out to explore yet another beautiful city. Visit the Jaisalmer
Fort, Nathmal ji ki haveli, Patwon ki haveli and Salim Singh ji ki haveli.
Pick up ethnic Rajasthani goods from the Rajasthali - Rajasthan Government
Emporium. Thereafter, return to the Palace on Wheels and enjoy a delicious
meal. Relax for a while and then set to experience one of the most
adventurous trip in Jaisalmer- a camel safari in the Sam sand dunes. At the
end of the day, tourists are brought back to the Palace on Wheels, and the
train leaves for its next destination - Jodhpur at 2300 hrs. Dinner is
served on board.
Day 04 : (Sat) : Jodhpur
The Palace on Wheel arrives in Jodhpur at 0700 hrs. After breakfast,
passengers are boarded on the luxury coach and taken to visit quiet a few
important attractions of the city like the Mehrangarh Fort and the Jaswant
Thada. Before lunch at 1300 hrs, tourists can also shop for some ethnic
Rajasthani goods. At 1530 hrs, the Palace on Wheels moves for its next
destination, Sawai Madhopur and Ranthambore National Park. Dinner is served
on board.
Day
05 : (Sun) : Sawai Madhopur - Ranthambore National Park -
Chittaurgarh
The Palace on Wheels reaches Sawai Madhopur at 0400 hrs. After breakfast,
tourists are taken for a visit to the attractions in and around Sawai
Madhopur. Ranthambore National Park is the most important attraction and
provides shelter to a number of animals and birds. The Ranthambore Fort is
also worth seeing. After exploring the park for a while, tourists can shop
for some local items in the nearby markets. At 1030 hrs, the train leaves
for Chittaurgarh. Lunch is served on board at 1300 hrs. Arrival at
Chittaurgarh at 1600 hrs. Admire the impressive Chittaurgarh Fort before
returning to the Palace on Wheels. Dinner is served on board.
Day 06 : (Mon) : Udaipur
The Palace on Wheels leaves Chittaurgarh at 0530 in the morning and reaches
Udaipur at 0730 hrs. After breakfast, the tourists are taken to explore the
city of Udaipur. Visit the beautiful Lake Palace and the Jag Mandir. Enjoy a
sumptous meal at the Lake Palace Hotel. Thereafter, proceed to see some more
attractions of Udaipur. The grandeur of the City Palace and the sheer beauty
of the Crystal Gallery is worth appreciating. After a day full of
sightseeing, tourists are brought back to the Palace on Wheels. The luxury
train proceeds towards Bharatpur at 2000hrs. Dinner is served on board.
Day 07 : (Tue) : Bharatpur - Agra
The luxury train arrives in Bharatpur in the morning at around 0630 hrs.
Breakfast is served on board after which tourists are taken to visit the
most famous attraction of Bharatpur - Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. After a
visit to the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, the tourists are brought back to the
Palace on Wheels which leaves for Agra at around 1145 hrs. Lunch is served
on board. The train pulls at the Agra Station at around 1530 hrs. Tourists
are taken to visit some of the most beautiful monuments in and around Agra.
Fatehpur Sikri has a historical significance while the Taj Mahal has both
historical and symbolical significance. Enjoy the beauty of the Taj, and
then return to to the Palace on Wheels. The luxury trains departs for Delhi
at 2300 hrs. Dinner on board.
Day 08 : (Wed) : Delhi
The train arrives in Delhi at around 0600 hrs next morning. Tour ends here.

• 10% Surcharge shall be levied on departure during Christmas/New

• @ 3.09% Service Tax shall be levied on the tariff of Palace on
Wheels.

The Palace On Wheels Tour Cost Includes :
Tariff is inclusive of travel/ catering/ conducted sightseeing/ entrance
fee at monuments/ parks/ palaces/ cultural programs/ camel ride at
Jaisalmer/ boat ride at Udaipur/ rickshaw ride at Bharatpur and for still
cameras. Guest has to pay for video cameras, liquor, laundry and other items
of personal nature.
Reservation :
• 50% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
• Remaining 50% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure.
CANCELLATION
Cancellation must be advised by Fax/E-mail/Letter to The Luxury Trains. On
cancellation, refund will be made. Certain amount of the ticket value will
be deducted as follows.
In case of FITs
• 5% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure.
• 20% of ticket value 30-59 days prior to departure.
• 100% of ticket value between less than 30 days prior to departure.
In case of Group and Charter :
• 10% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure.
• 100% of ticket value between 0 to 59 days prior to departure.
No show/En route termination of tour /amendment :
- No Show : No refund or adjustment in future
travel will be accepted in case of No Show/Non-arrival of the guest
- En route termination of tour : No refund or
adjustment in future travel will be accepted in case the guest ends
the tour.
- Amendment : No charges will be levied for
amended dates of tour of Palace on Wheels and amendment will be
allowed only once depending on the availability.

The two restaurant cars, The Maharaja and The Maharani, serve a range of
Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine. Menus are changed seasonally.
