Day 01 : Arrive
Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Our representative will welcome you at the airport. Transfer
to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 : Delhi - Jaisalmer
Morning leave for full day sight-seeing tour of Delhi. Start with Jama
Masjid - the largest mosque of Emperor Shahjahan, Red Fort-Built by the
Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan between 1638 and 1648, Raj Ghat- cremation site
of Mahatma Gandhi, to India Gate - a 42 meter stone arch built in the memory
of the Indian Soldiers who died in World War II, Drive past the President's
House & Parliament House, Humayun's Tomb- a complex of buildings of
Mughal architecture, Qutab Minar- made of red sandstone rising to the height
of 72.5mts is an architectural marvel of the 13th century. You may also
visit Lotus Temple. Evening transfer to railway-station to connect train #
4059 DLI JSM Express dep. Delhi at 17:45 hrs. Overnight on train.
Day 03 : Jaisalmer
Arrive Jaisalmer at 13:00 hrs. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening
drive to Khuri Village & Sand Dunes. Khuri is a village 45 km South west
of Jaisalmer. It is a delight fully peaceful place with mud and straw
decorated houses. Further proceed for 1Km away from village, you can
magnificent patches of sand dunes. You can have camel ride here. People &
village life can be seen on the way to khuri in various villages. Overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 04 : Jaisalmer-Jodhpur
Morning leave for full day sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer, which includes
visit to the 12-15th century Jain temples, Folk Museum, Gadi -sar Tank &
the colorfully painted homes known as Havelies. Afternoon transfer to the
Railway-station to connect train # 4060 Jaisalmer / Delhi Express dep. at
16:00 hrs arrive Jodhpur at 21:50 hrs. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05 : Jodhpur
Morning leave for city tour of Jodhpur, including the imposing Meherangarh
fort with its palaces and outstanding museum. Also visit Mahamandir Temple
and the Kailana Lake. Afternoon excursion to Osian which is famous for
cultural heritages and ancient temples. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 : Jodhpur-Ranakpur-Udaipur
Morning drive to Udaipur which is 259 kms. & approx. 06 hrs journey.
En-route visit centuries old Jain Temples in Ranakpur. On arrival transfer
to hotel. Rest of the time is free to relax. Evening boat ride at Lake
Pichola (subject to water level). Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 : Udaipur-Jaipur
After breakfast, city tour visiting City Palace, Jagdish Temple, drive
around Fateh Sagar Lake, Sahelion ki bari (Queen's resort for her friends)
and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum). Late evening transfer to
Railway Station to connect Train # 2966 Udaipur / Jaipur Super Express dep.
at 21:40 hrs. Overnight on train.
Day
08 : Jaipur
Morning arrive Jaipur at 07:10 hrs. Later leave for city tour visiting City
Palace and Museum. Nearby is the ornate Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds) which
is five stories high and is decorated with delicate screens carved from
stone. Also visit Jantar Mantar Observatory, which is still equipped with
immense, brick and mortar instrument. Evening you may explore the Colourful
local markets of Jaipur by own. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 09 : Jaipur
Morning visit Amber Fort on elephant back / Jeep. Amber Fort was the
ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory
glittering with mirrors. Rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight stay at
hotel.
Day 10 : Jaipur-Fatehpur Sikhri -Agra
Morning drive to Agra (232 kms / 5 hrs) enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikhri,
the old Mughal capital still preserved in good condition. Evening you can
visit the local markets. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 : Agra - Delhi / Out
Morning visit world famous "Taj Mahal" the monument of love
immortalized in marble. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of
his Queen Mumtaj. Agra Fort dominated by red sandstone construction &
houses the beautiful Pearl Mosque and other noteworthy structures. Later
drive to Delhi International airport (203 kms / 4 hrs) and connect flight
for onward destination.
