Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Our representative will be at the airport to welcome you.
Transfer to Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 : Delhi
Morning city tour of Old Delhi covering - Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni
Chowk, Raj Ghat and Shanti Van. Afternoon city tour of New Delhi. Start the
tour from the tallest monument in Delhi, the Qutab Minar, Indo Persian
Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Lakshmi Narayan Temple and other tourist places.
Also drive past the President house, Parliament house, Government
secretariat buildings and Connaught Place, the most busy shopping center in
Delhi.
Day 03 : Delhi / Jaipur
Morning transfer to New Delhi Railway-station to catch Train #2015 Ajmer
Shatabdi Express dep. 06:10 hrs. arrive Jaipur at 10:40 hrs. Transfer to
hotel. Afternoon leave for city tour of Jaipur. Visit Hawa Mahal or the
Palace of Winds which was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year
1799. The
Hawa Mahal displays fanciful architecture. Later visit
City Palace - the museum within the palace has a good collection of rare
painting, exquisite miniatures, scholarly manuscripts, artifacts and
traditional treatises on architecture. Also you can see fine collection of
guns and swords on display dates back to the 15th century. Also visit the
Royal Observatory. Evening you may walk around the colourful & Bazaars.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikhri / Agra
Morning visit Amber Fort on elephant back / Jeep. Amber Fort was the
ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory
glittering with mirrors. Afternoon drive to Agra (232 kms / 5 hrs). Enroute
you can visit Fatehpur Sikhri, the old Mughal capital still preserved in
good condition. Upon arrival check into hotel.
Day 05 : Agra
Morning visit Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. It was
built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal, in 1632.
Later proceed to Agra Fort, built by the great Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D.
Also visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb, The tomb was built by Empress Noor Jahan,
in memory of her father, in 1622-25A.D.
Day 06 : Agra / Jhansi / Orcha / Khajuraho
Transfer to Railway station to catch Train #2001 Bhopal Shatabdi Express
dep. 08:00 hrs. arrive Jhansi at 10:26 hrs. Drive to Khajuraho (190 kms / 5
hrs). Enroute visit Orcha Temples, the 16th Centuray temples build by
Chandela rulers well known for its excellent architecture. Continue drive to
Khajuraho and upon arrival check into hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07 : Khajuraho - Varanasi
Morning visit the famous erotic temples of Khajuraho built between AD 950
and 1050 by the kings of the Chandela, the site originally possessed 85
temples, of which 20 are still reasonably preserved. The temples are best
known for the erotic friezes on their walls. Afternoon transfer to airport
to connect flight 9W 724 for Varanasi, dep. at 13:30 hrs / arrive at 14:10
hrs. Transfer to hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 08 : Varanasi
Early morning boat cruise on River Ganges to see the bathing Ghats. Come
back to hotel for breakfast. Later leave for full day city tour visiting
Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas, Banaras Hindu University etc.
Overnight in Hotel.
Day 09 : Varanasi - Delhi
Morning visit Sarnath, the place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon.
Rest of the day free for leisure. Evening transfer to Railway Station to
connect Train # 2559 Shiv Ganga Express dep. 19:15 hrs. Overnight on train.
Day 10 : Delhi / onward destination
Arrive Delhi at 07:25 hrs. Transfer to airport for flight back to home.
